Auction Rules

  • Be sure to bring a valid ID.
  • Be respectful and have fun!
  • No sharing or pooling of points.
  • The student who wins the $1000 toward tuition must have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA by the end of the semester prior to the semester in which he/she receives the award.
  • You can bid on as many items as you like.  However, you may only win one silent auction item, and if you still have enough leftover points you can bid and win a live auction item.
  • You are expected to know and bring your ChampChange balance with you.  We will have lists to verify your balance once you win an item.
  • When you want to place a bid on an item, raise your paddle, wait for the auctioneer to acknowledge your bid, then lower your paddle.  The auctioneer will declare a winner and the winner will claim his/her prize at the claim table.
  • In the event of a tie, Rock/Paper/Scissors will determine the winner.  If 3-way or more, cards will be drawn (ace is high).
  • Remember, any ChampChange not used in the semester auction will be lost FOREVER. So bid, bid, bid! ChampChange points start accumulating the first day of each semester.
